Proposal I put together last week for the 2016 Liverpool Light Night:
”Project Plunge intends to create a collection of large pod like forms, around 10 in total, maximum size being 2 meters in diameter. The use of clear polythene sheeting filled with shredded paper, each pod being a different and potentially luminous colour. The intention of the Pods are for them to be fully interactive: jumped on, bounced against, thrown around, stacked together or pushed apart. Creating a full scale interactive Art Installation.
Experimentation is key to this piece through the used of colours, some of which will be luminous and vary across the spectrum. The forms can then be moved around to re-arrange the pending colours into new sequences and layout patterns. Potential for children to create play scape, the elderly to use as informal seating. Teenagers to create action games for adults to photograph.”
